Project Description
Turning: 17.15: 30 cms high, stoneware. I have always like the curves and turns of forms that remind me of shells, of some plants, of the idea of movement. This is made in paperclay and I used a very thin white slip rubbed in with a thin layer of coral and yellow glazes, combined with coper oxide to emphasise the curving lines. Here, the sculpture is standing on a wooden base. Its always a problem to decide whether bases work or not!
